Full Groom, Tidy Up, De Shedding for long and short coats, Wash and Dry, Nail Clipping, Ear Plucking and Anal Glands. Our Tidy Up is eyes cleaned, paws shaped, paw pads shaved and the sanitary area cleaned, so it is a neaten up rather than a full haircut. Ear plucking is only done when your vet has advised it for your dog.

We are small, owner run and completely cage free. Dogs wait with us rather than in a crate, and we take the time each dog needs instead of rushing them through. We have been grooming Adelaide dogs from Tranmere since 2016.

Yes. Dog Love daycare is for small and medium dogs up to 19 kg, Monday to Friday, with drop off from 7am and pick up by 6:15pm. Every new dog starts with a daycare assessment so we can make sure they are comfortable in the group, and up to date vaccinations are required.

It depends on the coat. Most dogs do best with a groom every 4 to 8 weeks. Double coated dogs are usually deshedded every 6 to 8 weeks, and every 4 to 6 weeks through the spring and autumn coat blows.

Brushing at home between visits keeps the coat easier to manage and makes every groom more comfortable for your dog. Tell us your dog's breed and we will suggest a schedule.

Your dog is groomed in a calm, cage free space. Depending on the service that includes a bath with products chosen for their coat, a full blow dry, brushing and dematting, clipping or styling, then nails, ears and paws.

While we work we keep an eye out for anything unusual, like lumps, sore spots or skin changes, and let you know if something is worth a vet check.

A toilet break and a short walk before you arrive helps your dog settle in. Tell us anything we should know, like sore spots, allergies, or nerves around dryers and nail clippers.

A quick brush at home beforehand is lovely but never expected. Tangles are part of our job.

Plenty of dogs come to us after a stressful groom somewhere else, and most settle once they learn a groom can be calm and unhurried. Tell us what happened so we can work at your dog's pace and take breaks where they need them.

And if anything ever does not feel right after a visit with us, please tell us straight away. We would much rather know so we can put it right.

Let us know when you book. We can choose gentler products, avoid anything your vet has flagged and take extra care around any irritated areas. If your dog's skin is uncomfortable or changing, it is always worth a vet check as well.

Regular grooming keeps the coat and skin healthy, stops small tangles turning into tight mats that pull on the skin, keeps nails at a comfortable length, and gives us a chance to spot lumps, sore spots or skin changes early. A well maintained coat is simply a more comfortable dog.

We do everything we can to keep every dog safe, but accidents can happen with any animal. If your dog becomes unwell or injured while with us, we call you straight away on the emergency number you gave us, so we can decide together on the best next step.

In an emergency we take your dog to a vet immediately and keep you updated the whole way.
