The DogLove Pro, the harness we kept reaching for
We used the DogLove Pro on our own dogs for two years before we stocked it. It has lasted years without fading or losing quality, it still sits flat, and the buckles still click firmly. That is why it is the harness we fit in the salon and the one we sell.

Nothing over the head
Unclip the neck, wrap it around and clip it shut. Dogs who duck away from a harness usually stop fussing, and it can still slip over the head if your dog doesn't mind.

More control on every walk
A front clip to redirect pulling, a back clip for relaxed walks, and a padded top handle for kerbs, doors and the car.

Kind to long and curly coats
Breathable padded mesh, open sides and four adjustment points, so it sits flat instead of twisting and rubbing the coat.
Dog harness size guide
Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. The tape measure decides the size, not the breed.
| Size | Chest | Weight guide | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 33 to 43 cm | Up to 4 kg | $59.95 |
| S | 43 to 56 cm | 4.1 to 9 kg | $61.95 |
| M | 56 to 69 cm | 9.1 to 16 kg | $64.95 |
| L | 69 to 81 cm | 16.1 to 30 kg | $69.95 |
| XL | 81 to 107 cm | Over 30 kg | $74.95 |
Between two sizes? Go up one. Then adjust all four points until two flat fingers slide under every strap. Puppies are fitted to the chest they have today. Our step by step fit guide walks you through it.

Dog harness questions we hear in the salon
What is the best harness for a dog that pulls?
A harness with both a front and a back clip. Clip the lead to the front ring to turn forward pulling to the side while you practise loose lead walking, then move to the back ring once walks settle. The DogLove Pro gives you both, plus a padded top handle for close control.
Is there a dog harness that doesn't go over the head?
Yes. The DogLove Pro's neck strap unclips, so you wrap it around and clip it shut, and nothing passes over your dog's eyes or ears. It can also slip over the head if your dog doesn't mind.
How do I choose the right harness size?
Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and match it to the size guide above. If your dog is between sizes, go up one, then adjust all four points until two flat fingers slide under each strap.
How long does a good dog harness last?
A well made harness should last years. Ours has lasted years on our own dogs without fading or losing quality. Check the stitching, buckles and adjusters once a month, and replace any harness that frays or won't hold its fit.
Can my dog wear a harness all day?
For walks, absolutely. At home we recommend taking it off, because a harness worn all day can rub and cause friction mats behind the front legs, especially on curly and long coats. Our guide to harness rubbing and matting shows the spots to check.
Do you ship dog harnesses Australia wide?
Yes. Orders placed before 2pm Adelaide time on a business day ship the same day and usually arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Shipping is $9.95, free over $79, or you can pick up free from our Tranmere salon.
