No overhead fitting
Open the neck and belly buckles, lay the harness on, then clip it in place. Helpful for puppies, flat faced breeds and dogs who dislike things going over their ears.
DogLove Pro No Pull Harness
A front clip harness for dogs who pull, dislike harnesses going over their head, or need a calmer way to get ready for a walk.

Why this harness
At Dog Love, we see the effects of poorly fitting harnesses every week: coat rubbing, awkward buckles and dogs trying to back out of their gear.
The DogLove Pro is a Truelove harness we chose after testing six brands in our Tranmere salon, and we used it on our own dogs for two years before we stocked it. It clips on without going over the head, gives you a front and a back clip, and adjusts at four points for a closer fit.
Open the neck and belly buckles, lay the harness on, then clip it in place. Helpful for puppies, flat faced breeds and dogs who dislike things going over their ears.
The front ring can help redirect forward pulling while you work on loose lead walking. The back ring is there for relaxed walks, and the top handle gives you close control at kerbs and doors.
Soft padded mesh sits where the straps press, and four adjustment points let it sit flat instead of twisting and rubbing. On for walks, off at home, and a quick comb behind the front legs afterwards helps keep friction mats in check.
Find their fit
Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs. The tape decides the size, not breed or weight. Between two sizes? Go up one.

50 cm fits Small. Often suits Shih Tzus, Mini Dachshunds and Italian Greyhounds.
After fitting, two flat fingers should slide under each strap. More detail in our harness fit guide.
A groomer’s recommendation
We wanted a harness that was easy to put on, adjustable across different body shapes, and kinder to the coat than poorly fitted gear. We tested six brands in the salon and used this one on our own dogs for two years before we stocked it.
“The harness I recommend when a dog needs more control, but doesn’t want something pulled over their head.”Hannah, Dog Love · Tranmere, Adelaide
Before you order
No. The neck and belly buckles open so you can lay the harness on and clip it in place. Nothing goes over the ears or eyes.
The front clip can help redirect forward pulling and give you more control. It works best alongside calm, consistent loose lead training. Our guide on how to stop a dog pulling on the lead walks you through it.
Measure the chest girth just behind the front legs and use the finder above. If your dog is between two sizes, or has a thick coat, go up one. Our fit guide has more detail.
Return it or swap the size within 30 days. Drop it back to our Tranmere salon or post it back to us. See our refund policy for the details.
The top handle is useful for close control at the car door.
Wash bag, cold gentle cycle, air dry. It keeps the lining soft and the hardware in good shape.
