Oodle grooming in Adelaide.
At Dog Love in Tranmere, we groom Cavoodles, Groodles, Spoodles, Moodles and Labradoodles every day. We know the difference between fleece, wool and straight coats, and how to keep each one soft, healthy and mat-free.
When an oodle goes too long between grooms, the coat begins to mat. Loose undercoat gets trapped in the curl and knots form — first at friction points, then across the whole coat. Once mats are tight enough to pull on the skin, the only humane option is a short clip.
Regular grooming every 4–8 weeks (depending on coat type) prevents this entirely. A short clip is always a last resort, not a starting point.
Every oodle breed is welcome here
We groom all oodle and doodle breeds at Dog Love. Whether your dog is a tiny toy Cavoodle or a large standard Groodle, we have the products, technique and experience to give them a groom that looks beautiful and feels comfortable.
We also groom first-timers and nervous oodles. Our calm, home-based environment is much better for anxious dogs than a busy commercial salon.
How often should you groom a Cavoodle?
Coat type, home brushing, matting and the right frequency for your dog. A groomer's honest answer — not a generic blog post.
