How do I measure my dog's neck?

Wrap a soft tape measure around your dog's neck where the collar would normally sit, about halfway down. Add room for two fingers between the tape and the neck. If your dog measures between sizes, choose the larger one. The Japanese slider lets you tighten the fit precisely.

Is the neoprene padding actually comfortable?

Yes. Neoprene is soft, slightly cushioned, and breathable. It's the same material wetsuits use. It conforms gently to the neck, doesn't chafe, and dries quickly after swimming or rain. Especially good for dogs with sensitive skin or short fur where collar friction is more noticeable.

Will the buckle hold up to a strong puller?

Yes. The zinc alloy quick release is rated for serious sustained load. It doesn't snap, crack, or fail under pulling like cheap plastic buckles. The release mechanism only opens when you press both sides simultaneously, so it can't accidentally pop open during a walk.

Can my dog swim with this on?

Yes. The neoprene lining is water friendly and dries quickly. The webbing handles getting wet without losing shape. Just rinse the collar in fresh water after beach swims to prevent salt build up around the metal hardware.

Does it fit ID tags?

Yes. The zinc alloy D ring is sized to take both a standard council ID tag and a lead clip at the same time. For dogs with multiple tags, use a small split ring to consolidate them.

How do I clean it?

Hand wash in cool water with mild soap, rinse, and air dry flat. Don't machine wash. It'll wear the metal hardware and reflective tube faster than necessary. The neoprene lining dries fast naturally, so you don't need a dryer.
